The UC Davis Cluster on Language Research is pleased to announce our
12th annual Symposium on Language Research, taking place in May 22nd
and 23rd, 2026. The current theme is "Language at a Crossroads:
History, Innovation, and Change."
The UC Davis CLR is a very interdisciplinary, fully student-run and
organized conference hosting research on "language" in any capacity.
Every year, we have presentations on work done in departments of
linguistics, education, psychology, cognitive science, foreign
languages, Native American studies, and neurology, just to name a few.
Our symposium is an excellent choice for graduate students or recent
post-docs who have exciting research to share.
This year, we will be hosting multiple presentation styles, including
(1) full length oral presentations, (2) poster sessions, and (3)
rapid-fire flash talks.
For more information on the event itself, deadlines, specifications,
