Description:

The University of Kassel is seeking a Research Associate (m/f/d) in
English/General Linguistics. The position is part-time (50%) and
limited until September 30, 2026. It includes research and teaching
responsibilities in (English) linguistics, particularly in grammar
theory and the semantics-pragmatics interface, with a focus on
experimental and empirical methods. The teaching load is 2 SWS per
semester. The position offers the opportunity for further academic
qualification (PhD).
Workplace Description:
The position is located at the Institute of English and American
Studies, University of Kassel, in the Department of English
Linguistics (Prof. Dr. Holden Härtl). The research environment offers
interdisciplinary collaboration, access to empirical methodologies,
and a dynamic academic setting.

a third-party funding proposal, which is planned to secure further
employment for the candidate.
