Meeting Description:
CogSURF is Montréal’s largest undergraduate conference in cognitive
science. Open to all disciplines and all universities, the Forum
brings together top undergraduate researchers in the city’s heart to
share discoveries, contribute perspectives, and network with leading
industry professionals. CogSURF is dedicated to elevating
undergraduate voices and breaking down traditional academic silos for
the next generation of machine learning engineers, linguists,
behavioural scientists, thinkers, and more.
Breakthroughs in our understanding of the mind demand work at the
intersection of the canonical disciplines. At CogSURF, we unite
passionate undergraduate students from Montréal’s leading universities
to exchange ideas and tackle some of humanity’s greatest unsolved
questions.
Call for Undergraduate Presentation Abstracts at CogSURF 2025!
Undergraduate students and recent graduates who have conducted or are
currently conducting research in cognitive science and related fields
(linguistics, computer science, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology,
anthropology, etc.) are invited to submit an abstract to present at
CogSURF’s inaugural event!
This is a unique opportunity to showcase your research and improve
your presentation skills. The presentation should primarily feature
the research contributions of the undergraduate student. Students who
have recently graduated (May 2024 onwards) and have not started their
graduate studies are also eligible to present their work that was
conducted throughout their undergraduate degree. Students may choose
to submit and present in English and French only.
Prizes will be awarded for the best presentations from our panel of
judges and through a public vote, and all accepted abstracts will
receive 1 coupon for a free BeaverTails® pastry (The Classic)!
