CALICHE is the annual Applied Linguistics graduate student conference
on the teaching and learning of second languages organized by the
Graduate Society of Applied Linguistics (GSAL) in the Department of
Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures at Texas Tech
University. This conference, held since 2012, includes presentations
and poster sessions chosen through a peer review process. Participants
come from various parts of Texas and surrounding states.
We are welcoming submissions from language studies, linguistics,
psychology, sociology, philology, anthropology, communication studies,
assessment, curriculum development, the arts and more!
Submission deadline for proposals: Feb. 10, 2025
Please email an abstract of 200-250 words to CMLL.CALICHE.conf at ttu.edu
Include your name, institution, department and three key words
10$ registration fee for accepted proposals (due in March), includes
catered luncheon
