Focus: Intensive language training in multiple languages, multiple
formats, multiple levels. Focus is on development of communicative
proficiency.

Applications for Funding for Indiana University’s 75th Summer Language
Workshop are due January 31.
2025 Workshop highlights include:
- IU study-abroad programs for Azerbaijani (Baku), Hungarian
(Budapest), and Kyrgyz (Bishkek)
- Collaborative study-abroad programs for BCMS (Cetinje), Czech
(Prague), and Polish (Krakow), with the University of Pittsburgh
- On-campus immersion programs for Russian, Chinese, Arabic
- Online programs for Azerbaijani, BCMS, Czech, Estonian, Finnish,
Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish (Sorani), Kyrgyz, Latvian,
Lithuanian, Mongolian, Pashto, Persian, Polish, Romanian, Swahili,
Ukrainian, Uzbek, and Vietnamese
* FULL FUNDING is available through TITLE VIII for researchers,
scholars, and graduate and post-graduate students for all program
formats.
* FULL FUNDING is available through FLAS for graduate and
undergraduate students for online and on-campus programs.
* PARTIAL FUNDING is available for undergraduates, lifelong learners,
community college students, and high school students for online and
on-campus programs.

Very roughly:
-- the cost of attendance for online courses is about $3,000.
-- the cost of attendance for in-person courses, including housing is
about $6500
