Abstract:

Diese Einführung bietet einen verständlichen Überblick über die
Phonetik und Phonologie des Spanischen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf
prosodischen Phänomenen wie Silbe, Akzent, Rhythmus und Intonation
sowie auf der Variation zwischen europäischen und amerikanischen
Varietäten des Spanischen. Eine Anleitung zum Umgang mit der
Sprachanalysesoftware Praat und Ausblicke auf neuere theoretische
Ansätze wie Optimalitätstheorie und Autosegmentale Phonologie ergänzen
den Überblick. Die Neuauflage wurde um ein Kapitel zu
Sprachkontaktsituationen und zum Fremdspracherwerb erweitert.
