The GILE Journal of Skills Development (GJSD) invites submissions for
its upcoming issue. GJSD is an open-access, international,
double-blind peer-reviewed journal committed to exploring and
advancing personal and professional skills development, particularly
among youth and early-career professionals.
What We Publish:
We welcome a variety of contributions, including:
- Scientific research articles (qualitative, quantitative,
mixed-methods)
- Case studies
- Action research
- Citizen science contributions
- Early-career research papers
- Perspectives such as “Food for Thought” essays and “Practical
Proposals for Social Impact”
Thematic Focus:
While all submissions relevant to skills development are considered,
this issue prioritizes work that supports upskilling and reskilling,
in alignment with SDG 4 – Quality Education. We are especially
interested in topics related to:
- Communication skills development and Language skills
- Inner development and emotional intelligence
- Adaptability and change management
- Digital, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Media literacy, innovation, and complex problem-solving
- Sustainable employability and entrepreneurship
Who Can Submit:
Submissions are welcome from doctoral students, early-career
researchers, practitioners, and established academics. We encourage
interdisciplinary work that connects education, business, health,
agriculture, and other sectors to personal and workplace skill
development.
About the Journal:
GJSD is published by the Pact4Youth Association and indexed in DOAJ,
ERIH PLUS, Google Scholar, OpenAIRE, the Core Collection, and MTMT
(Hungarian Science Bibliography). The journal is committed to open
science and long-term preservation, with no submission or publication
fees. All articles are published under a Creative Commons license (CC
BY 4.0).
