Journal: Studies in Chinese Linguistics

Studies in Chinese Linguistics (SCL) is an international Open Access
journal edited by T.T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre (CLRC) of
the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) at The Chinese University of
Hong Kong. We are dedicated to the comparative study of Chinese
language and linguistics and are indexed in over 30 services,
including CSSCI, DOAJ, EBSCO, ERIH PLUS, MLA International
Bibliography, and SCOPUS. To explore our journal articles, please
visit:
https://sciendo.com/journal/SCL
We invite research papers focusing on comparative linguistics and
comparative dialectal grammar. We are particularly interested in
synchronic or diachronic comparative works on any aspects of syntax,
semantics, and morphology among Chinese dialects or between varieties
of Chinese and any languages, especially those that contribute to
theoretical linguistics or have significant theoretical implications.
All article process charges are covered by CLRC and the Publication
Service Unit of ICS. We also provide a free and optional service via
CLRC’s social media platforms (Facebook, WeChat, and Weibo) to enhance
the visibility of your article.
We aim for a reasonable turnaround time, with the reviewing process
generally taking about six months. Each manuscript will undergo a
rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two experts in the
relevant field. Constructive feedback will be provided to help refine
your work.
Manuscripts should be submitted online by clicking the following link:
https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=13692728
Details on manuscript submission are available at:
https://www.cuhk.edu.hk/ics/clrc/english/pub_scl_intro.html
We look forward to your contributions and the opportunity to share
your research with a broader audience!
