We are pleased to announce the TrIPS 2026 conference to be held at the
Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Mons
(Belgium), on 7 and 8 May 2026. The conference theme is “Translation
and Interpreting Process Studies: Multimodality, Cognition and
Application”.
The following plenary speakers have kindly accepted to present their
research:
- Rhona Amos (University of Geneva);
- Esther de Boe (University of Antwerp);
- Raphael Sannholm (Stockholm University).
On 6 May 2026, there will also be a pre-conference workshop on “Eye
tracking as a tool in psycholinguistic approaches to T&I process
research”. The workshop will be hosted by Ena Hodzik (University of
Mons) and Rhona Amos (University of Geneva) and is open to both
early-career researchers and senior colleagues.
You are all cordially invited to participate in this event, either by
presenting a paper (The submission deadline is 15 October 2025), by
attending the workshop or by simply visiting without presenting.
