Meeting Description:
This is the twentieth anniversary of the Experimental Pragmatics
series of international conferences which started in 2005 with a
conference that was held in Cambridge (UK) that brought together the
nascent community of researchers from philosophy, experimental
psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, anthropology, and other
cognitive sciences. Two years later, another was organized in Berlin
and thus a biennial tradition was born. Since then, XPrag has taken
place in Lyon, Barcelona, Utrecht, Chicago, Köln, Edinburgh, Pavia and
Paris. National-level 'XPrag' events series have taken place in the
UK, Germany, and Italy.
In 2025 XPrag will be taking place in Cambridge again, with a
fantastic line-up of invited speakers and a celebratory character for
the success of the conference series and the discipline that underpins
it.
