Focus: The focus of the summer school wil be current Methods and
Developments in Learner Corpus Research. In addition to plenary talks
and presentations by participants, the summer school will include
workshops and networking events (see our website linked above for more
information).
Description:
We are excited to announce the 2025 Summer School of Applied
Linguistics at the University of Bamberg, with the theme Methods and
Developments in Learner Corpus Research. This summer school is geared
toward early-career researchers, especially MA students, PhD students,
and early Post-Docs. Please note we ask for a partcipation fee of
100€.

Registration Instructions:
We welcome submissions relating to any aspect of the theme Methods and
Developments in Learner Corpus Research. Presentation slots will be 15
minutes (10 min. presentation + 5 min. for discussion) and
presentations may be conducted in German or English. Abstracts should
be approximately 300-500 words excluding references.
Proposals may be submitted via EasyAbs until May 2nd and decisions
will be sent out in early June.
