Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) will continue to host 2025
the 4th Conference on Biolinguistics and Language Acquisition (2025
BL&LA) on June 22, 2025, in a hybrid format (online and offline). The
conference will feature keynote speeches by distinguished scholars
from MIT and other leading universities, such as Prof. Kenstowicz
(MIT). We welcome abstract submission on the following themes.
(i) Ontological studies of human languages: syntax, semantics,
phonology, phonetics, prosody, morphology, etc., and their interfaces.
And bio-neural analyses of language computations in such subfields via
ERP, fMRI, and DTI, etc.
(ii) L1, L2, or L3 acquisition studies (including Chinese L1 and L2
acquisition/ processing research); bilingual and multilingual
acquisition studies; heritage language acquisition research.
(iii) Bio-neural studies of language acquisition via ERP, fMRI, DTI,
etc.
(iv) Bio-neural studies of human language use via ERP, fMRI, DTI, etc.
(v) Studies of language evolution and philosophical issues related to
language.
(vi) Studies of language pathology and rehabilitation.
Abstract format: 100-300 words; personal information (name,
affiliation, email address) on a separate page.
Submission method: Please send the abstract and personal information
to biolinguistics at bfsu.edu.cn
Deadline and acceptance: June 15, 2025.
Accepted submissions will receive an invitation to the conference
before June 17, 2025.
