Focus: The listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Yoruba
and Igbo language through interactive exercises and practical
applications; Cultural exchange in Yoruba and Igbo language through
cultural workshops, presentations, and immersion experiences;
participants will experience the language and culture first hand from
native speakers of the language.
Description:
The summer school program focuses on Yoruba, and Igbo language. It
encompasses the preservation of cultural heritage, the promotion of
multilingualism, the fostering of cultural exchange.we aim to create a
transformative educational experience that not only enhances
linguistic abilities but also nurtures cultural understanding and
unilateral literacy.
By completing the programme, the students will be able to:
- Develop language proficiency in Yoruba and Igbo through
structured language lessons, activities, and practice sessions;
- Deepen understanding of the cultural heritage associated with
Yoruba and Igbo language through cultural workshops, presentations,
and immersion experiences;
- Enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in
Yoruba and Igbo language through interactive exercises and practical
applications;
- Foster intercultural understanding and respect by providing
opportunities for students to interact with speakers of Yoruba and
Igbo language, exchange ideas, and engage in cultural activities;
Tuition: $100 (160,000 Naira)
