Journal: Journal of Psycholinguistic Research
Issue: Typical and atypical language acquisition: Perspectives from
East Asian Languages
Call Deadline: 30-Nov-2025

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you, because I am
organizing a special issue in the Journal of Psycholinguistic
Research. The title of the issue is "Typical and atypical language
acquisition: Perspectives from East Asian Languages". You can find the
Call for Papers for this issue via the link:
https://link.springer.com/journal/10936/updates/27766136.
I am writing to inquire whether you might be interested in
contributing a paper to the issue. Contributions should ideally be
reports of novel acquisition work not already published in a
peer-reviewed journal. In some cases, an overview of already published
work can also be accepted, but it should offer a fresh and unifying
presentation of the published work and preferably suggest further
directions for research. If you are interested, but are uncertain
about what aspect of your research might be appropriate for the issue,
I am happy to talk to you about this!
The deadline for submission is November 30, 2025. Papers should be a
maximum of 10,000 words, but shorter papers are preferred. Submissions
should be made via the Journal Manuscript Submission link:
https://www.editorialmanager.com/jopr/default.aspx. When you submit
your manuscript on the submission platform, please make sure that you
answer "yes" to the question "Does this manuscript belong to a special
issue?" and then select the special issue title "S.I. : Typical and
atypical language acquisition: Perspectives from East Asian
Languages".
I hope you would be interested in participating in this project.
