Focus: The NYI Global Institute of Cultural, Cognitive and Linguistic
Study is an interdisciplinary institute focusing on theoretical
linguistics, cognitive science, and critical cultural studies. V-NYI
is the virtual, global version of NYI, now entering its 10th session
this summer
• V-NYI #10 is open to students, artists, scholars and all curious
minds, from all backgrounds and countries, interested in comparative
and formal approaches to theoretical linguistics as well as race,
ethnicity, trauma, media, and decolonial studies.
• Participants create their own study program from seminars in the
following fields:
- Theoretical Linguistics and Cognitive Science
- Critical Cultural Studies
- Interactive Workshops

Description:

Primary focus is on Theoretical Linguistics (Phonology, Morphology,
Syntax, Semantics, Language Acquisition and Change, ), (NYI also has
an extensive program in Critical Cultural Studies)
