Issue: The teaching of language and literature in multilingual and
technologized societies: challenges, actions and proposals
Call for Papers:
The Lenguaje y Textos joural is the journal of the International
Society of Language and Literature Didactics (Sociedad Internacional
de Didáctica de la Lengua y la Literatura – SIDLL) .
We are seeking proposals for a monograph that will be published in the
journal Lenguaje y Textos, the journal of the International Society of
Language and Literature Didactics (Sociedad Internacional de Didáctica
de la Lengua y la Literatura – SIDLL). The topic will be “The teaching
of language and literature in multilingual and technologized
societies: challenges, actions and proposals”.
We welcome contributions on the following topics:
• Bilingualism, plurilingualism and languages in contact in the
teaching and learning of language and literature
• ICT for multilingual learning in diverse educational contexts
• Plurilingual and intercultural competence in the classroom and
teacher education
• Foreign language teaching and learning in the 21st century
• Foreign language teacher education
We are asking the interested contributors to send a tentative title,
authors and an abstract with references of no more than 300 words
(excluding references) by 20th July 2025 via this email:

Publication languages: Spanish, Catalan, and English
Notifications of acceptance will be sent on 31st July 2025.
The full papers will be due on 16th November 2025, following the
journal guidelines in the link:
