Subject: Seeking Native English Speakers for a Short Online Sentence Judgment Study
I am a PhD student at the University of York and I am currently
recruiting native English speakers to take part in a brief online
linguistics experiment.
This study investigates how English sentences are perceived and
evaluated by native speakers.
What’s involved:
-Reading 36 short English sentences, presented one at a time
-Rating each sentence on a 7-point acceptability scale
(0 = completely unacceptable, 6 = completely acceptable)
-Estimated time: 5–7 minutes
-No specialised linguistic knowledge is required
Eligibility:
-Native speaker of English
-Aged 18 or above
The task is completely anonymous and participation is voluntary.
All data will be used for academic research purposes only.
