Journal of Applied Languages and Linguistics invites submissions for a
special issue on Technology & Language Learning.
​​Submissions are now open
Submission deadline: December 15th, 2025
Estimated publication date: December 30th, 2025
We welcome original research, review articles, and conceptual papers
exploring innovative applications of technology in language teaching
and learning. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
 - AI, machine learning, and adaptive learning tools in language
education
 - Mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) and computer-assisted
language learning (CALL)
 - Online, blended, and hybrid learning models
 - Digital assessment and feedback tools
 - Gamification and virtual reality in language classrooms
 - Teacher professional development in digital literacy
This special issue aims to highlight both theoretical and practical
contributions that advance our understanding of how technology shapes
language learning, pedagogy, and assessment in diverse educational
contexts.
Submission Guidelines:
Manuscripts should follow the journal’s style and formatting
guidelines.
Both empirical and conceptual studies are welcome.
