About the Organization:
Asian University for Women is an independent, regional institution
educating women across Asia and the Middle East.
About the Position:
AUW is seeking a Director of its Pre-Undergraduate Program, which
enrolls approximately 900 students. This program is a cornerstone of
AUW’s mission, enabling the university to maintain flexible admissions
policies while upholding rigorous academic standards at graduation.
The Pre-UG program offers an intensive English language curriculum (21
hours/week) and prepares students for successful entry into the
undergraduate program. Additional preparation is provided in
mathematics, computer literacy, leadership, and martial arts.

Key Responsibilities:
 - Lead the recruitment and selection of qualified and mission-aligned
faculty, ensuring alignment with AUW’s academic standards and
commitment to diversity and excellence.
 - Introduce innovative and state-of-the-art pedagogical techniques
and technological facilitators for learning.
 - Curriculum development and implementation across English, math,
computer science, and co-curricular areas.
 - Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Pre-UG program.
 - Supervise and support faculty and staff, including recruitment,
onboarding, and professional development.
 - Ensure effective use of pedagogical technologies and assessment
tools.
 - Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and program evaluation.
 - Foster a learning environment that supports students from diverse
and often vulnerable backgrounds.
 - Collaborate with university leadership to align the Pre-UG program
with AUW’s broader academic goals.
Qualifications:
 - Minimum of 10 years of experience in ESL or related teaching
fields.
 - At least 3 years in a leadership role involving curriculum,
pedagogy, assessment, and faculty management.
 - Demonstrated experience with educational technology and program
coordination.
 - Strong intercultural communication skills and a commitment to
women’s education.
 - Master’s degree in ESL, or a related field preferred.
 - English fluency.
Compensation and Benefits:
