Subject: Reminder: Nominations for the 2026 DELAMAN Award due Nov. 2, 2025

Nominations for the 2026 DELAMAN Award are now being accepted. The
deadline to submit a nomination is 02 November 2025.
The winner will be announced in March 2026, and the prize will be
awarded at the Language Documentation & Archiving conference in
Berlin, Germany, 9-11 September 2026 (see langdoc.org for conference
details).
The Digital Endangered Languages and Musics Archives Network (DELAMAN)
was established in 2003 with the goal of documenting and archiving
endangered languages and cultures worldwide.
The DELAMAN Award recognizes and honors early-career documenters who
have done outstanding documentary work in creating and archiving (in a
DELAMAN member archive) a rich multimedia documentary collection of a
particular language that is endangered or no longer spoken. For full
details about the award and the nomination process, see
https://www.delaman.org/delaman-award/.
