Journal: Lingvistik' - Online Journal of Linguistics (ISSN: 1986-4450)
Website: www.lingvistik.weebly.com
Commemoration and Objective of the Issue:
The scientific journal Lingvistik' is pleased to announce, after a few
years' hiatus, the opening of a call for papers for a special
monograph issue (2026) dedicated to the memory of Prof. Renato
Corsetti (1941-2025), renowned linguist, former professor at Sapienza
University of Rome, and a leading figure in the Italian and global
Esperanto movement.
This special issue aims to commemorate Renato Corsetti's scientific
contribution and commitment by collecting original essays primarily
focused on his preferred research areas. We invite all scholars and
researchers, whether they were collaborators of the professor,
Esperantists or not, to submit original and unpublished contributions.
Thematic Areas (Topics of Interest):
We accept proposals that address themes within the vast areas of study
explored by Prof. Renato Corsetti with scientific rigor and an
academic approach. Preferred topics include (but are not limited to):
 - Esperantology and Interlinguistics: The role of planned languages
and Esperanto as a solution to linguistic discrimination.
 - Sociolinguistics and Language Policy: Linguistic imperialism,
minority rights, linguistic justice, and language policies in
post-colonial contexts.
 - Psycholinguistics and Bilingualism: Language acquisition, child
bilingualism, and the psycholinguistics of international languages.
 - Linguistics and Social Transformation: Language as a tool for
empowerment and global citizenship.
Any other linguistic or philological topic treated with scientific
rigor.
Accepted Languages and Submission of Proposals:
Contributions, submitted in two copies (one of which must be
anonymous), may be written in Italian, Esperanto, English, French,
Spanish, Portuguese, or Modern Greek.
Deadline for manuscript submission: June 30, 2026.
Selected contributions will undergo peer review and will be published
in the special monograph issue of Lingvistik', scheduled for release
