We are pleased to invite abstracts for the Government Phonology Round
Table 2026 (GPRT 2026), which will take place in Brno, Czech Republic,
on 11–13 June 2026. The meeting will be held as a workshop devoted to
Government Phonology and related topics, and we warmly encourage
submissions from both senior and junior scholars.
The initial deadline for abstract submission is 30 April 2026,
although it may be extended by one week depending on the level of
interest.

Presentations may be given either in a 20+10 or a 25+5 format,
according to the preference of the participants. Thanks to the support
of the Van Riemsdijk Foundation, there is no participation fee.
All student participants (BA, MA, and PhD) will automatically be
entered into the competition for a student prize of approximately EUR
325. Depending on the number of eligible student participants, the
prize will be awarded either to one student or shared between two. The
prize is generously sponsored by Languages (MDPI):
