Full Title: Dag van de Fonetiek 2026 / Phonetics Day 2026
Short Title: DvdF2026
Date: 06-Nov-2026 - 06-Nov-2026
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Web Site: https://nvfw.org
Linguistic Field(s): Phonetics
Call Deadline: 20-Sep-2026
Call for Papers:
On Friday, 6 November 2026, the Dutch Association for Phonetic
Sciences will hold its annual Phonetics Day, this time in Amsterdam.
We invite submissions on current and recently finished phonetic
research within the empirical tradition, and/or demonstrations of new
applications or methods in the field of speech science.
Due to the increasing number of suitable entries, the NVFW is applying
a new method for abstract submission and selection this year: all
abstracts will first be checked for content-related relevance (are
they indeed a contribution as described above?). After that, a lottery
will determine which abstracts will be presented. Separate lotteries
will be held for entries by junior and senior researchers to ensure a
good distribution of both groups in the final program.
If you have a contribution, in English or Dutch, we would like to
receive a title and a summary of maximally 1 page by 20 September via
our new online submission form:
https://surveys.tilburguniversity.edu/jfe/form/SV_3WCtwbO2miujyU6.
Note that remote participation is not possible.
The board will inform you of their decision on Friday, 9 October at
the latest.
