We would like to invite you to the Young Scholars Forum (YSF) of
EACL-13 (the 13th International Conference of the European Association
of Chinese Linguistics) to be held in Paris-Aubervilliers, Campus
Condorcet, on 3-4 September 2026.
With the objective of supporting the next generation of researchers in
Chinese linguistics, the YSF is an inclusive platform for master’s
students, doctoral candidates, and post-doctoral researchers (within 3
years of their PhD defense) to exchange ideas and expand network.
Alongside the General Sessions, young scholars will present their
work, and the attendees and an assigned senior researcher will provide
feedback. Besides the presentations, there will be a dedicated tour of
the Chinese collection of the Humathèque, a Q & A on publishing in
Chinese linguistics, and a talk with the editors of the student-led
journal FLaP FIRST. A day after the conference, a range of networking
activities such as a museum visit, a stroll around Chinatown, or a
picnic will be organized. Attendance to the presentations is free,
while the activities mentioned may incur a minimal fee.
For the full program of the YSF together with the General Sessions,
please visit https://eacl-13.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/30. To
