Description:
The Department of Linguistics, within the School of the Arts, is
looking to appoint a Lecturer in (French) Linguistics (Teaching and
Scholarship) to cover a staff member on externally funded research
leave.
Duties will include convening, teaching and marking on the following
modules: (i) SML6209 Shaping identities: language and society in the
French-speaking world (undergraduate), (ii) Sociolinguistics: English
in use (undergraduate and MA), and another module in Linguistics.
The post is full-time and fixed-term appointment for 4 months, with an
expected start date of 14 September 2026 until 13 January 2027.
