Description:

The Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia
(https://rom.uga.edu/) invites applications for the position of
tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish Applied Linguistics with a
specialization in Spanish Second Language Acquisition and/or
Bilingualism to begin fall 2026. The responsibilities of the position
include teaching a 2/2 course load in Spanish Second Language
Acquisition (SLA) and/or Bilingualism, which will include a
graduate-level course on different approaches to SLA research taught
in Spanish, in addition to introductory courses in Hispanic
linguistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, maintaining an
active research program, service to the department, and mentoring
student research in the MA and PhD programs in Hispanic and Romance
Linguistics.
