Call for Reviewers
The Routledge Handbook of AI and Language Learning
Editor-in-Chief: Weixiao Wei
The Routledge Handbook of AI and Language Learning is an international
scholarly project that commenced in early 2025 and is currently
planned to include approximately 40 chapters. The handbook aims to
provide a comprehensive and critical overview of current research,
theoretical perspectives, and pedagogical applications at the
intersection of artificial intelligence and language learning.
We are now inviting applications for reviewers to support the
peer-review process of this volume. Each reviewer will be asked to
review five papers. Reviewers are expected to read each assigned
manuscript carefully and provide detailed, constructive, and scholarly
feedback to support the academic quality of the volume.
Upon successful completion of the assigned reviews, reviewers’ names
will be formally acknowledged as members of the Editorial Board and
listed in the front matter of the handbook.
Eligibility:
Applicants should:
 - Hold a PhD degree
 - Ideally be working at an academic or research institution
(worldwide)
 - Have relevant research expertise in areas related to AI, language
