The 7th International Conference on Language Education and Research
(LERC2026) invites researchers, educators, and practitioners worldwide
to submit papers, posters, and workshop proposals for our fully online
international conference.
Under the theme “Language Acquisition at the Interface of Linguistic
Theory and Practice”, LERC2026 provides a platform to explore the
intersections between linguistic theory, empirical research, and
applied language learning. The conference welcomes contributions that
address challenges, innovations, and practical implications in
language acquisition, linguistics, and education across global
contexts.
Conference Topics and Key Discussion Areas:
We invite submissions that explore, but are not limited to, the
following areas:
- Theoretical Foundations of Language Acquisition – Syntax,
phonology, morphology, semantics, and their relevance to SLA.
- Cognitive and Psycholinguistic Perspectives – Memory, perception,
processing, and other cognitive factors influencing language learning.
- Sociolinguistic and Multilingual Approaches – Language acquisition
in multilingual environments, identity, and cross-cultural
communication.
- Applied Linguistics in Education – Evidence-based pedagogical
strategies, curriculum design, and instructional interventions.
- Digital and Online Learning – Innovative teaching tools,
technology-mediated instruction, and remote learning research.
- Corpus, Experimental, and Longitudinal Studies – Empirical research
informing theory and practice.
- Language Policy, Assessment, and Teacher Development –
Linguistics-informed strategies for assessment, teacher training, and
professional development.
Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts: 80-100 words, in English
Format: Word document
Include: Title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), email(s), and brief
bio (50 words max)
