Subject: Workshop @ CIFLE 2026: Drama Activities in the Primary Classroom
Language learning in the primary classroom can be enhanced by using
simple performance skills such as improvisation, expressive movement
and voice control. Drama activities help our students contextualize
language and to speak and respond appropriately. They encourage
interaction, reflection and meaningful communication.
In this 50-minute online workshop session we will look at a variety of
drama activities for any size of class and ability. Each activity will
have a specific language outcome. Our goal will be to help our
students develop adventurous thought, modifying that with order and
self-discipline and inspiring them to become more creative and
comfortable with their language use.
Speaker: Jeanne Perrett (Greece).
