Subject: Workshop @ CIFLE 2026: AI in Language Teaching
This 1,5-hour session explores how artificial intelligence can enhance
language teaching and learning. Participants will discover practical
AI tools for creating engaging lessons, providing personalized
feedback, designing assessments, and supporting student practice while
promoting responsible and ethical use of AI. Through hands-on
activities and real classroom examples, attendees will leave with
practical strategies they can immediately apply to improve language
instruction and learner engagement.
Speaker: Delia Ortega (Spain).
Delia Ortega is a language educator, teacher trainer, and freelance
consultant specialising in inclusive and communication-driven language
teaching. She is the founder of DELIATEACHER, a Barcelona-based
English language centre she led from 2015 to 2025, where she developed
a personalised, speaking-focused approach for diverse learner
profiles. With a background in law and university teaching, she brings
an interdisciplinary perspective to language education, combining
academic insight with highly practical methodologies. Her work focuses
on designing tailored learning experiences, particularly in ESP
(English for Specific Purposes) and professional communication,
supporting learners across educational and corporate contexts. At
CIFLE 2026, she will lead a workshop on practical strategies for
integrating AI into inclusive foreign language education.
This workshop is a part of the Conference on Inclusive Foreign
Language Education (CIFLE 2026), which will be held online on
September 11-12, 2026.
For participation in the workshop attendees will be awarded with 0,1
