Call for Papers:
We are pleased to announce the 13th edition of the DiSS workshop
(Disfluency in Spontaneous Speech), to be held in Bolzano-Bozen
(Italy) on February 4th-5th.
Established in 1999, the DiSS workshop series provides an
interdisciplinary forum for research on disfluency and spontaneous
speech, bringing together scholars from a wide range of disciplines.
Submissions are encouraged from all fields concerned with disfluency,
paralinguistics, and related phenomena, including, among others:
psychology, neuropsychology and neurocognition, psycholinguistics,
linguistics, conversation analysis, computational linguistics, speech
technology, gesture analysis, dialogue systems, and speech production
and perception.
Submissions:
Authors are invited to submit 4-page short papers (plus references).
All submissions will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee.
Paper submission will be managed through the Microsoft CMT submission
system. The submission portal will be accessible via the workshop
website.
Important Dates:
- Submission deadline: 05 October 2026
- Notification of acceptance: 13 November 2026
- Camera-ready deadline: 01 December 2026
