We are pleased to announce the Government Phonology Round Table 2026
(GPRT 2026), which will take place in Brno, Czech Republic, on 11–13
June 2026. The meeting will be held as a workshop devoted to
Government Phonology and related topics, bringing together both senior
and junior scholars.
The initial deadline for abstract submission was 30 April 2026,
although it was extended by one week based on the level of interest.
Presentations are given either in a 20+10 or a 25+5 format, according
to the preference of the participants. Thanks to the support of the
Van Riemsdijk Foundation, there is no participation fee.
All student participants (BA, MA, and PhD) are automatically entered
into the competition for a student prize of approximately EUR 325.
Depending on the number of eligible student participants, the prize
will be awarded either to one student or shared between two. The prize
is generously sponsored by Languages (MDPI):
