**The Transforming Research into Practice (TRIP) initiative is hosted
by the Manchester Centre for Research in Linguistics at Manchester
Metropolitan University, UK, and supported by the EuroSLA (European
Second Language Association) Workshop Grant Programme. It is dedicated
to developing pathways for collaboratively transforming research
findings into practical teaching resources and practices.
The series runs from September 2025 to June 2026 and features
workshops led by researchers who have conducted and published
empirical work on various aspects of second language education. These
researchers are motivated by an aspiration to make their findings
useful and applicable to practitioners, including, but not limited to,
teachers, teacher educators, curriculum designers, policy-makers, test
developers, test-takers, and language learners.
Please note that we have a maximum limit of 30 participants for onsite
attendance, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We
therefore encourage you to register early if you would like to join us
in person.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided for in-person participants,
and you are very welcome to attend BOTH workshops and make it a
memorable and enriching professional development day.
