ICAAL is the principal regular meeting for presenting and discussing
research on Austroasiatic languages and linguistics. The Faculty of
Foreign Languages at Nguyen Tat Thanh University invites interested
scholars to submit abstracts for the 14th International Conference on
Austroasiatic Linguistics (ICAAL 14).
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both
in-person and virtual presentations and participation. We look forward
to a lively exchange of ideas in this forum.
We welcome submissions on Austroasiatic language topics, including but
not limited to:
- Language documentation and description
- Semantics and pragmatics
- Syntax and morphology
- Typology
- Historical linguistics
- Language contact
- Sociolinguistics
- Language revitalization
- Computational methods in AA linguistic research and language
education
Proposals for special panels or workshop sessions will be considered.
Abstracts must fit on one A4-sized page in 11-point Times New Roman
font, 2.5cm margins (including references and figures).
Please submit abstracts to: 14icaal at gmail.com
Submit as both DOCX and PDF file with author name(s) and
affiliation(s) removed.
In the email please include the names, email addresses and
affiliations of the primary and secondary authors. The primary author
will be the contact for organisational purposes.
