The School of Education, Trinity College Dublin, invite researchers,
teachers, leaders and others working in the field of immersion
education to submit an abstract to the conference Immersion Education
in the Celtic Languages: Research, Policy and Practice which will take
place on 5-6 March 2027 in Trinity College Dublin.
The conference will showcase emerging research and innovative practice
in immersion education across the Celtic languages. Researchers and
educators will have the opportunity to share information, exchange
ideas and examine approaches to educating pupils in an immersion
setting, from both a modern and historical perspective. A key aim of
the conference is to strengthen collaboration between researchers and
practitioners working across Celtic language contexts.
