The 57th annual meeting of the North East Linguistics Society (NELS
57) will be hosted by the Graduate Center, City University of New
York. The conference will be held Friday October 16 through Sunday
October 18th, 2026 at the B. Altman & Company Building at 365 5th
Ave., New York, NY. There will be two parallel sessions of oral
presentations, two poster sessions, four keynotes, and a banquet on
Friday.

We ask that you register by October 9th at the latest so we have an
accurate headcount for catering.
The keynotes will be given by Athulya Aravind (Yale), Jeffrey Heinz
(Stony Brook), Matthew Hewett (Penn), and Ruth Kramer (Georgetown).
