Subject: Call for Participants: Speakers of Najdi Arabic


I am a PhD Candidate in Linguistics at George Mason University, and my
linguistic interests include language documentation, semantics and
pragmatics, and morphosyntax.
I am inviting potential participants to take part in an online survey
for one of my dissertation chapters, which will help provide a clearer
description of the White Dialect of Najdi Arabic. It will also help
create a more accurate record of the dialects spoken in Saudi Arabia.
I am looking for participants who are speakers of (Central) Najdi
Arabic, specifically the Riyadh Dialect and/or the White Dialect.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
In the survey, you will respond to a variety of questions about the
Riyadh Dialect and the White Dialect of Najdi Arabic (description,
attitudes, and sharing your overall knowledge about the dialects).
Participation will take less than 45 minutes, and you can respond to
the questions in Standard or Colloquial Arabic.
