Intelligent Information Processing (IIP2008)

September 15-18, 2008, Lyon, France

In memoriam Prof Ryszard S. Michalski



The IIP conference series provides a forum for engineers and
scientists in academia, university and industry to present their
latest research findings in any aspects of intelligent information
processing.  This time, we especially encourage papers on Knowledge
Discovery, Knowledge Management, intelligent agents, machine learning,
autonomic reasoning etc.  We also welcome papers that highlight
successful modern applications of IIP, such as Biomedicine,
Bioinformatics, e-Services, e-Learning, Business Intelligence.
IIP2008 attempts to meet the needs of a large and diverse community.

Workshop, Tutorial and Panel Proposals

The conference Program Committee invites proposals for workshops,
tutorial and panel. Proposals should be received by one of the program
chairs no later than March 1, 2008.

Submission

Papers should be no longer than 10 pages including all tables,
figures, and references but excluding a cover page. Fonts should be in
10-12 pt.  Each submission must include one cover page which should
contain:

- Title of the paper with an abstract of no more than 500 words;
- A few keywords, from the list above where possible, giving a clear
  indication of topics;
- Author names with affiliations, complete postal addresses, and phone
  numbers;
- Email address of the contact author.

The proceedings will be published by the Jean Moulin University Press.
Extended versions of the best papers will appear in a special issue of
a well-known scientific editor

(preferably in PDF) to the Easychair paper management system through
the IIP2008 web site (http://www.intsci.ac.cn/iip2008/ ).
Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to
register and present the paper.

Author Notification       15 April, 2008
Camera-ready Due        5 May, 2008
