Technology company is looking for a Project Manager for French to work
at the office in Paris.

Project: Word of Mouth

Job Title: DataOps Project Manager

Job Description: The Project Manager will oversee and manage all work
related to achieving high data quality for speech projects in French.
                 He/she will manage a team of Data Evaluators, work on
analyzing textnorm performance, oversee lexicon/phoneset and QA studio
recordings.

Responsabilities:
    - Create verbalisation rules, such as expanding URLs, email
      addresses, numbers, etc.
        - Provide expertise on pronunciations to help the experts with
          their phoneset and phonotactics work.
        - Supervise the creation of pronunciations for new lexicon
          entries after familiarizing himself/herself with our phoneme
          set and transcription standards.
        - Perform basic text normalization tasks on a huge amount of
          text data.
        - Work with QA tools according to the guidelines.

Required skills:
    - Native-level speaker of French (must have attended elementary
      school in France) and fluent in English.
        - Keen ear for phonetic nuances.
        - Advanced degree in (Computational) Linguistics preferred.
        - Knowledge of French phonology will be a plus.
        - Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
        - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
        - Good organizational skills.
        - Previous experience in managing external resources.
        - Knowledge of Python and experience developing internal tools
          or with speech/NLP-related projects a plus.
        - Capacity to do independent work and to interact in a team as
          well.


The candidate will work on-site at the Paris office.

The duration of the project is 6-9 months (full-time) with potential
for extension.
