It may sound ridiculous, but north frisians would express it the same
way "I know, frisian is spoken in the Netherlands as well."

Correct or not, north frisians feel their language to be frisian
(although there are a lot of influences from german, low german,
danish).

The problem is, that north frisian is considered to have a uniform
language (three letter code FRR). The situation is, that the north
frisian mainland has a sort of standard dialect (frasch = mooring),
whereas the islands have three dialects (halunder / island of Helgoland,
öömrang and fering / islands Amrum and Föhr, sölring / island of Sylt).
And the island dialects are so different from each other, that they are
hardly intelligible for the neighbours.

I'll try a öömrang translation...

I'm delighted to know that you are planning to provide a North Frisian
translation.  I started on a Low Saxon (Low German) one months ago, but it's
been slow going.

I'm also delighted to see that you write your address in Frisian with the town's
name Frisian-German.  I now do this consistently with letters to Northern
Germany (Low Saxon-German) and the Netherlands (Low Saxon-Dutch or
Frisian-Dutch), and I do it Frisian-Low Saxon-German in letters to Northern
Friesland.  It has mostly symbolic value.  How about adding Low Saxon to yours
-- "Sössaarep/Süüddörp(?)/Süddorf" -- since all three languages are officially
recognized in your area?
