Thank you for the correction.
Little by little I'm finding out all about the 'technicalities' of how to

I still think that it is astounding how interesting linguistics is. I am
fascinated by 'your all's knowledge', as the Texans would say...

Dear Lila,

Thanks for understanding these "corrections" in the friendly spirit in which
they were given.  I don't mean to give anyone a hard time about such things.
Well, I start doing so if individuals persist in making the same mistake
despite repeated appeals, but that always takes place off the List.  Much of
this may seem a bit nitpicky to some, but a bit of "tweaking" here and there
helps the List to run smoothly and also prevents misunderstandings (such as
created by misquoting).

I certainly enjoy your interest, enthusiasm and appreciation and hope you will
continue to learn from and contribute to Lowlands-L.
