Dear Lowlanders,

The ListServer experienced some technical difficulties over the weekend.
Some of my postings were not processed, nor were some of the submissions
apparently.  Everything is back in working order now, and I have sent you
everything I have received.  If you have sent submissions but have not seen
them posted, please resend them to the list
(lowlands-l at listserv.linguistlist.org).  Sorry about the inconvenience.

Please also let me take this opportunity to welcome a number of new and
returning list members, including one from France, one from Sweden, one
from Hungary, one from Russia and several from the Netherlands and the
United States (including Alaska -- a first?).  Welcome to all of them.  We
are delighted to have you and hope you will enjoy your stay.
