I can confirm that. I studied at Abertay University in Dundee for some time.
The university owns some buildings along the Market Gait/Gate. The first few
weeks of my stay in Dundee, they put me in a small apartment in the 'Old
Mill', a former jute (?) factory on Market Gait/Gate. In my adress, I wrote
the name as 'Market Ga(i)t(e)', because of the two different roadsigns. No one
could tell me the 'proper' spelling...
Later I moved to a place close to Camperdown Park ("Cahmpay"!).
