Within the Long Eaton English-speaking area (in
Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire), I have observed many
of the variant phonologies encountered by Andy and the
other Scots-speakers (on the left is the standard
English version):

Ilkeston          Ils'n
Long Eaton        Lung Ee'un [l at n'G i:?@N]
Nottingham        Notnum
Stapleford        Stabbo [sic]
Kirk Hallam       Ker Kálum ['k3 'kae:l at m]
Breaston          occasionally Braest'n

And so forth.
