Coud be. Thon aboot colloquial English wis juist efterthocht - I wis
really wonderin whit the relation wis atween thae forms in mainland
Scots an Shetlandic.

BTW - hou is eg: 'Thay _div_ lest a lang time' - whaur the verb grees
but isna  richt niest the pronoun - cuvered bi the rule?
