In another group this was the response to Klaus-Werner Kahl's query:

Beste heer Kahl,

Een aanzienlijk bekendere variant op "Legedeur" is "Leggedoor", een naam
die in ieder geval in Drente voorkomt (o.a. een grote aannemer, en een lid
van Gedeputeerde Staten). Over "Leggedoor" is wel het een en ander te
vinden bij het Centraal Bureau voor Genealogie en elders. Misschien helpt
dit u verder?
