Subject: Exitpoll

Ik heb een vraagje voor sprekers van het Afrikaans. Het Nederlandse
tijdschrift Onze Taal is voor het februari-maartnummer op zoek naar
een goed Nederlands equivalent van 'exit poll' bij verkiezingen.

De Stichting Natuurlijk Nederlands stelt 'stembuspeiling' voor, maar
daaruit zou niet blijken dat het een peiling op de verkiezingsdag
zélf, en een peiling bij het verlaten van het stembureau betreft. Ik
vroeg mij af of er misschien een Afrikaans woord is om het over een
exitpoll te hebben.

Pepijn, Laaglanders,

Ek het _exit poll_ in geen Afrikaanse woordeboek gevind nie.  As voor _exit
poll_ werklik geen woord bestaan, wil ek as ongekwalifiseerde buiteperd
hierdie neologisme aan die hand gee (ten minste vir "vermaaklikheidsdoele"):
"uitgangsstemopname" (ook vir Nederlands).

Wat sê (of lag) jy?  ;)
