Hello, all!
For anyone interested in researching anything to do with Appalachia and
Appalachian
English the following link leads to a very extensive bibliography of
sources at the
University of West Virginia relating to many aspects of the subject:
http://www.libraries.wvu.edu/appalachian/bibliography.htm
Ah reckin 'at mess o'rahtin' maht-c'd hope a mite, 'n youns's innersted in

(Trans.: Perhaps the material may be of assistance to anyone who is
interested in
the subject.)
Cheers, ya'll ;-)

Do you think it would be an idea for members to cooperate in producing a
series of
derivative articles for presentation on lowlands-l.net called "The Best of
Lowlands-L"?
These would be copied from the archives and edited to make a coherent
article.
Perhaps it could just be left to list members to research the archives for
material
they were particularly interested in, and write up a balanced article to
submit to
the website.
