Here's a new topic:  In Canada, this department was renamed the Employment
Insurance department

believe me).  A naive person might assume that this had something to do with
insuring employment, instead of providing income for people who are
unemployed.  I wonder if LL-L participants can top this incredible abuse of
the English language with examples from their own government's Newspeak.
