Dag Ron,

Met dit late berichtje wil ik je ook mijn volle steun geven met wat je
schrijft over die domme beschuldigingen.
Lowlands is niet "nazi-sympathiek".  Dat zou ik geen moment kunnen
verdragen. Laat ons verder schrijven over onze gemeenschappelijke talen
  en "roots": niet gelijk maar gelijkwaardig en allemaal interessant!
Wat jij over Wagner schrijft kan ik niet beamen:
De ideeën van Wagner over Joodse mensen keur ik helemaal af. Als enige
verontschuldiging kan ik nog even de tijdsgeest  noemen, maar dat
vergoelijkt niets. Dit gezegd hebbende, vind ik persoonlijk de opera's
van  Wagner subliem. Het verhaal van Parsifal en de verhalen van de
ring hebben mijn leven voor een deel veranderd en zin gegeven. Ik vond
er een stuk zoektocht in terug, die alles in het leven zin gaf. Zo zie
je maar.
Niemand is dus perfect, zeker Wagner niet. Maar zijn muziek blijf ik
beluisteren.
